Reading
Reading Logs are given out every Monday and are due every Friday. Please make sure your student reads at least 20 minutes a night (Monday-Thursday) and that you sign off that they did so on the Reading Log. Also make sure your student writes a response to their reading two of the four nights. Instruction sheets for responses will be sent home
Science
Homework is on an as need basis. Remember to study notes and use Quizlet to be prepared for upcoming quizzes/tests.
Writing
Students will write daily in class. Some writing will include journal prompts, RACE responses, and essays. The importance of revising and editing will be emphasized in all writing pieces. Reading Log responses should reflect these processes.
Social Studies
Homework is on an as need basis. Remember to study notes for upcoming quizzes. Project based assessments will be done in class, however, may need to be worked on at home.
Mathematics
Nightly Math Homework is collected the next day. If you forget your book or would like to do extra pages/problems for practice login to Pearson.
Practice your Math Facts daily for increased fact fluency.
Health
Remember to look over notes to be prepared for announced open-notes quizzes/tests.
